  Russian in Exercises is intended for beginners. It contains some 800 exercises treating most fundamental and typical points of Russian grammar and vocabulary.
The book is divided into two parts.

Read the questions and answers and write them down. Note the position of the noun-subject and pronoun-subject in the questions.
1. — Что делает преподаватель?
— Преподаватель читает.
2. — Что делают студенты?
— Студенты слушают.
3. — Что они делают днём?
— Днём они работают.
4. — Что делает Джим?
— Джим отвечает урок.
5. — Что вы делаете вечером?
— Вечером мы отдыхаем.

— Сейчас я читаю письмо.

Answer the questions using the appropriate forms of the words given in brackets. Put the words denoting time at the beginning of vour answers.
Model: — Что вы делаете сейчас? (отдыхать) — Сейчас мы отдыхаем.
