Complete First for Schools is an official preparation course for Cambridge English: First for Schools, also known as First Certificate in English (FCE) for Schools. It combines the very best in contemporary classroom practice with first-hand knowledge of the challenges younger students face. The information, practice and advice contained in the course ensure that they are fully prepared for all parts of the test, with strategies and skills to maximise their score.
Review of our school trip to Brookwood Adventure Centre.
Our class recently went on a school trip to Brookwood Adventure Centre. Brookwood is conviniently situated not too far away from the school near Bluewater Lake. It only took us two hours to get there by bus. There were twenty of us and we spent five days there on a sailing corse.
The acommodation was very confortable and spacious. The food was excelent, although some students said there wasn't enough choice. There are also cheap restaurants a short bycycle ride away.
The activities were well organised and safety standards were high. Students said they enjoyed the course despite the bad wether. Some students thought there weren't enough oportunities to practise sailing but they were impressed with the instructors, who were all extremely experienced. Each student was given a lot of personal attention, wich helped them to develop their confidence.
