English Grammar Practice Tests, Levels A1/B2, Melvin J., 2015.   

English Grammar Practice Tests is a book of repetitive tests exclusively designed for ESL students. It covers a large amount of the grammar needed to pass exams from elementary to intermediate level such as KET, PET and First Certificate. There is a large selection of multiple choice questions and repetitive exercises to reinforce each grammar point. Answers are given at the end of each exercise and in some cases where the grammar point proves to be 'tricky', the author has included notes for guidance.




Verbs and Adjectives that look the same.
The ‘ed’ and ‘ing’ adjectives can be confusing. It is because the ‘ed’ ones are the same as the past tense and the past participle of some regular verbs. The ‘ing’ adjectives can mislead you into thinking they are the gerunds of the verb, given that the gerund is the same. The following exercise has the aim of clarifying one from another. If the underlined word is an adjective, write A. If it is the past tense of the verb, write P. If it is the gerund, write G. The first two have been done for you. They are examples.
