When you write an email to introduce yourself, it can be formal or informal. It all depends on who you are writing to. Formal emails have longer sentences, do not contain contractions, and use non-colloquial language. Informal emails have shorter sentences, use contractions and contain colloquial language.

Finally, after years of waiting, fans are in for a real treat when they watch this fi lm. Without wanting to give too much away, I can say that Luke Skywalker has gone missing and the baddies are in control of the galaxy. For those who saw the previous fi lms, there are lots of familiar faces and there are a few new ones, too. Overall , this is a great fi lm with some fantastic special e ects and spectacular scenes that will impress, especially if you get to see it in 3D.

On Wednesday I studied all night for my science exam. I knew I would be able to answer all the questions and I was feeling confi dent. The next day, as I sat down to write the fi nal, three-hour paper, something strange happened. The paper in front of me said ‘Psychology – Final Exam’.
