   The poster has been around for hundreds of years, serving first and foremost as a means of communication. The simplest definition of a poster is any form of paper with a printed design or text that is created to be hung on a vertical surface. The poster’s genesis was purely a textual form, most often used for displaying government decrees. One of the earliest, more developed forms of poster was a means of advertisement, such as for one of Shakespeare’s plays. Eventually, posters came to be used as a way to spread propaganda, especially during wartime. Another common use of posters is as a cheap and efficient way to mass-produce popular artworks for the general public’s consumption.

   Алла Алиция Хшановская родилась в 1959 году в Польше, в семье русских эмигрантов, бежавших в 1918 году из революционного пожара в Санкт-Петербурге. Воспитывали ее дедушки и прадедушки, благодаря чему она никогда не теряла связей со своими корнями, с русской традицией и культурой, она была двуязычной с рождения, хотя по профессии она была польским филологом. Связи Хшановской с эзотерикой тоже очень сильны. Её прабабушка гадала на картах Таро, она овладела этим мастерством еще в царской России, бабушка предсказывала будущее на обычных картах. Прадед был травником, дедушка - православным священнослужителем и целителем - он лечил молитвой и «накладывал руки». Неудивительно, что и она занимается эзотерикой с детства, а с 1992 года занимается этим профессионально. В 1996 году она разработала собственный метод Психологического Портрета Таро и продолжает постоянно развивать и совершенствовать его. Вот что она говорит о Портрете: «Я создала новый эгрегор, который теперь живет своей жизнью и поддерживает тех, кто этим занимается. Портрет - это живое творение, и в нем постоянно появляются новые элементы, поэтому никто, даже я, не может сказать, что он знает весь Портрет».
